State Duma deputies from the LDPR proposed to introduce a draft law on financial incentives for Russians who have been officially married for 30 and more years. This was reported on Friday, February 14, the faction MP Yaroslav Nilov in his Telegram-channel.
As follows from the initiative, to the anniversaries of family life citizens will be paid a thousand rubles for each year of joint life. Thus, for 30 years of joint life spouses will receive Br30 thousand, for 40 years - Br40 thousand, and so on. This measure is currently in force in 19 Russian subjects.
It is noted that most often reward couples who have lived in marriage for 50 years, and the amounts paid vary significantly from region to region, the authors of the proposal.
February 12, Chairman of the Duma Committee on Family Protection, Paternity, Maternity and Childhood Nina Ostanina supported the idea to extend paid maternity leave to three years. According to her, this topic is raised in connection with the state's interest in increasing the birth rate. Ostanina noted that this issue cannot be solved only through one-time payments.
