Traffic on the Western High-Speed Diameter will be limited this weekend

Temporary traffic restrictions will be introduced in St. Petersburg along the Western High-Speed Diameter (WHSD). Traffic will be closed near the exit to Automobile Street on the southern section of the highway. The reason - works on re-equipment of the automated system and technical means of traffic organization.

Restrictions will be in effect from 23:00 Saturday, February 15, to 6:00 Sunday, February 16, as well as from 23:00 Sunday, February 16, to 6:00 Monday, February 17, TV channel "78" with reference to the press service of the WHSD.

At the same time will close the exits from Leninsky Prospekt and Automobile Street in the direction of Blagodatnaya Street. It will be impossible to get from the ZSD to the SHMSD in the direction of Vitebskiy Avenue.

The WHSD specified that they introduce restrictions during the hours of minimum traffic load.

Earlier, on January 30, the head of the Ministry of Transport of Russia Roman Starovoit told at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin that the implementation of the project of the high-speed line (HSL) Moscow - St. Petersburg is on schedule, the road will be built in time.
