The ministry specified that many couples specifically chose this date and applied in advance to get married on this day. Some couples decided to hold the celebration in original locations. Among the most popular - Palace of Culture "Druzhba" in Chekhov and Oleg Stepanov Park in Serpukhov.

Earlier it was reported that this year the cost of a date on Valentine's Day will increase by 7% compared to the previous year and will amount to 6739 rubles. A date includes: dinner in a cafe or restaurant for two, movie tickets, flowers and two cab rides. In Moscow, a romantic event will cost the most - 9921 rubles.
