A cynologist told about a dog's expression of love for humans

A dog's love is manifested in its attachment to its master. The president of the Russian Cynological Federation Vladimir Golubev told about it on Friday, February 14.
"This can be understood by the pet's trust in a person, by the pleasure with which she every time chooses the owner for a game, how she waits for him at home or asks her to calm her down at the moment when she feels fear," he said in a conversation with Radio 1.
According to the expert, dogs trust those they consider a reliable leader. If we draw a parallel between attachment and love, we can say that if a pet trusts a person, he loves him, Golubev added.
A dog doesn't get nervous around someone it loves and is attached to. It knows its daily routine, knows how the owner will react to this or that behavior, for what he praises it, and in what situations he can punish. The pet feels affection for the owner and is happy to follow commands to get praise. For a dog, the best time is the time spent with the owner, he emphasized.
When a dog loves a person, he may bring him his toys to get attention or just to play.
When a dog trusts its owner, in a moment of fear or anxiety, it may ask the owner for shelter. For example, some hide behind their owner's legs when frightened, others ask to be picked up or just stand next to them. It is also safe and comfortable for the pet to sleep next to the owner.
When a pet is attached to a person, it may wait for them at the door or come to the door before anyone else when it senses that the owner is about to arrive.
Earlier, on February 10, Golubev told why a dog can chew wallpaper, RT reports. According to the specialist, this can happen because the pet lacks physical activity, it lacks new experiences and impressions, reports NSN.
On February 3, the cynologist explained how dogs feel fear in humans. According to the specialist, animals do not have abstract thinking, but their sense of smell helps to catch changes in the level of hormones caused by emotional reactions. Fear changes the smell of a person, and the dog is able to notice this, reports 360.ru.
