An investigative inspection has been organized on the fact of poisoning of people in a Moscow hostel. This was reported in the press service of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia in the capital on Friday, February 14.
The check is organized on the grounds of a crime under Art. 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Provision of services that do not meet the requirements of safety of life and health of consumers", reports the agency of city news "Moscow".
At present, investigators of the capital IC together with employees of Rospotrebnadzor of Moscow conduct inspections of the hostel and the workplace of the victims, the necessary documentation is studied, reported on the website aif.ru.
Earlier in the day, 20 guests of the hostel "Hotel RBC service" in Moscow were hospitalized with poisoning, their condition is assessed as medium severity, reports 360.ru.
The health Department specified that all patients receive the necessary medical care in full, reports NSN. An epidemiological investigation is also underway, RT reports. Experts are working at the site.
Specialists of the capital's Rospotrebnadzor established that those infected with acute intestinal infection work as builders, writes "Moscow 24".
Mass poisoning was recorded in a hostel in the south of the capital. It was specified that 40 guests of the hotel near Nagatinskaya subway station were poisoned.
February 12, Rospotrebnadzor banned the work of the restaurant "The Bull" in the capital for 60 days after a visitor's statement about poisoning. Specialists during the inspection found that the food in the facility was stored in the wrong conditions: for example, pre-cut ingredients for dishes were not kept in the refrigerator.
