Boxer Sergeev wished Soto to approach in optimal form for the upcoming fight

Russian boxer Sergey Sergeyev on February 14 wished Cuban amateur boxer Jorge Manuel Soto to approach his upcoming fight in his best form.
The athlete called his opponent a "technical and sensitive guy".
"I think the fight will be interesting, that's the most important thing. I can say that I have a bit of a mixed style. I used to try to box in the style of the Soviet school of boxing, but now I started to watch American fights and take a little from there," shared Sergeyev.
He noted that the Soviet school of boxing is not suitable for all athletes. According to Sergeyev, a clear example of the Soviet school of boxing is Dmitry Bivol, who moves well and raises his front hand, but he likes Dmitry Pirog better, as he has a mixed technique.
"To my opponent I want to tell him to come in his optimal, best form and we showed just a perfect fight for the fans to enjoy it," he added.
Sergeyev and Soto will fight on February 28 at the tournament "Fight Club REN TV" in the format of four rounds of three minutes. Also Igor Sviridchenkov and Roniel Iglesias, IBF International champion Alexey Papin and Ebenezer Tetteh, WBA Africa and WBA Pan Africa champion from Ghana, will enter the ring. Papin has already sparred with Russian boxer Kevin Johnson.
