According to a survey by the All-Russian Center for Public Opinion Research (VTsIOM), the level of trust of Russian citizens in the head of state Vladimir Putin has exceeded 78%. The survey data were published on February 14 on the website.

"A direct question about trust in Vladimir Putin was answered positively by 78.3% of respondents," the publication says.

The index of approval of the president's work in the period from February 3 to February 9 at the same time amounted to 75.5%. A total of 1.6 thousand people took part in the study.

Also, the degree of confidence in Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin reached 59.9%. His activities were positively assessed by 50.8% of respondents, while the work of the government - 48.6%.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on January 17 that Putin enjoys tremendous support of the population. He also noted the impact of the poll results on the success of the Special Military Operation (SMO). Peskov called it an important factor "for the enthusiasm of citizens."
