The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) 2025 will become even more accessible to representatives of small and medium-sized businesses, opening up new opportunities for growth, international cooperation and innovation. Today, entrepreneurs need not only dialog, but also concrete tools for development, and SPIEF 2025 is ready to provide them.

Small and medium-sized businesses face serious challenges. Additionally, entrepreneurs are concerned about new legislative initiatives, including a tourist tax and a levy on online advertising. How to adapt to these changes? Where to find support? Entrepreneurs will be able to find answers to these questions during the SME International Cooperation Day, a unique platform where concrete solutions, tools and support mechanisms for sustainable growth will be presented.

This year SME representatives will have even more opportunities. In addition to participating in the Russian SME Forum, which traditionally brings together leading market players, government representatives and development institutions, they will be able to visit specialized thematic platforms. Experts and business practitioners will discuss key trends and challenges of various industries: "VinoGrad" - wine industry development, product quality and market trends; "Roscongress Urban Hub" - sustainable urban development and urbanism of the future; "Healthy Society" - healthcare, quality of life and innovative medical solutions; "Territory of Russian Design" - industry trends and achievements of Russian designers; Social Platform of Roscongress Foundation - significant public initiatives; "Territory of Innovations" - technological development of the Russian economy; "International Cooperation Day" - international cooperation day.

"SME International Cooperation Day will be a platform for discussing the problems of small and medium-sized businesses. Today the main economic challenges for SMEs are: staff shortage, high tax burden, growth of non-tax payments, difficulties with financing and the need for digitalization. Meanwhile, SMEs are the most adaptive segment of our economy today, capable not only of generating domestic demand, but also of filling niches that cannot be quickly or at all occupied by large businesses. SMEs are thus making a very important contribution to what is called the overcoming economy. SPIEF provides a platform for finding solutions and strategies for further business growth in the changing economic environment, developing, among other things, the economy of domestic consumption," said Anton Kobyakov, Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation, Executive Secretary of the SPIEF Organizing Committee.

Participation in the Day of International SME Cooperation will open access to key opportunities: entrepreneurs will be able to establish business relations through contact exchange and networking services, as well as use the interactive platform "SME Cooperation" for cooperation with large companies and government agencies.

To become a participant, it is necessary to fill out a business card in the SME Cooperation section of the Single Personal Office on the SPIEF official website.
