The actions of the administration of US leader Donald Trump regarding the conflict in Ukraine jeopardize the security of Germany. This was stated by Chancellor of the FRG Olaf Scholz on February 13.

"Today we must face the truth: what the actions and statements of the US administration mean for Ukraine, Europe and the world. Inaction would mean jeopardizing the security of our country and our continent. And I will not allow this to happen at this critical time for our country," he said in an address to the Bundestag, a video of the speech the chancellor published on the social network X (former Twitter).
