The "North" troop group destroyed AFU combat equipment in the Kursk border area

Russian servicemen of the 810th Independent Guards Marine Brigade together with other units of the "North" group of troops have destroyed Ukrainian militants' military equipment near a settlement in the border region of Kursk Region. Images of the destruction of the enemy's military equipment were published by the Russian Defense Ministry on February 14.
Timely detection of the enemy and quick reaction of the servicemen allowed to break up a column of armored vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' (AFU) militant unit in time. Thanks to confident actions, the servicemen of the Marine Corps ambushed the advancing enemy column, defeated it and completely stopped the enemy's advance in this area.
"The first to be hit was a tank. They slowed down the entire column. After that we hit two more BMPs (Infantry Fighting Vehicles. - Ed.). The infantry, which was rushing, began to misfire. Artillery and FPV drones were working on those who were scattering in different directions," said a serviceman of the 810th Independent Guards Marine Brigade.
Enemy equipment was defeated by the Marines. The enemy left wounded and killed on the battlefield, as well as weapons, ammunition and NATO-made equipment, the ministry said.
On February 13, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the crew of the Mi-28NM helicopter as part of a mixed tactical group disrupted the rotation of AFU fighters in the Kursk border area. The ministry specified that the crew was carrying out a combat mission to support ground units of Russian servicemen.
