D-30 howitzer crews destroyed AFU control centers in Kherson region

Artillery crews of 122-millimeter D-30 guns of the Southern Military District of the Dnipro group of troops have destroyed camouflaged command posts of a Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) unit with enemy personnel sheltering in a residential building on the right bank of the Dnieper River in Kherson Region. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on February 14.

As noted in the ministry, in the Kakhovsky direction of the Special Military Operation (SMO) zone Russian artillerymen daily suppress control centers, destroy artillery systems, weapons, military equipment, watercraft and personnel of the enemy. Also calculations of D-30 howitzers prevent any attempts of militants to force the Dnieper.

"We somehow work more on infantry. I mean infantry, dugouts, some vehicles there, if they approach the bank. Just the fact that less the enemy comes to the shore and tries to cross there, it is the merit of just D-30, D-20", - said the commander of the gun with the call sign Lysyi.
