On the highway connecting the U.S. states of Oregon and Idaho, more than 100 vehicles collided in zero visibility conditions due to a heavy snowstorm, there are victims. This was reported on February 13 by the Associated Press(AP) agency with reference to the sheriff's office.
According to authorities, the collision occurred in the westbound lanes of Interstate 84 near Multnomah Falls, 40 kilometers from the city of Portland. The crash caused the SUV to catch fire, but people were able to get out of it.
"The sheriff's office said there were reports of injuries and people trapped in their vehicles. But Oregon State Police spokesman Kyle Kennedy said in an email that no fatalities have been reported," the agency elaborated.
