Russian Alexander Vinnik described his return to Russia as a surprise in a conversation with Izvestia.

"I still didn't know that I would be exchanged. I have just arrived. Nobody informed me. It was a surprise," Vinnik shared.

He admitted that he missed his homeland while in the United States and believed that he would be released. At the moment the man plans to go home and go to bed.
