The Interior Ministry warned about fake notifications from labor inspection

Fraudsters are sending fake notices to organizations with the threat of labor inspection checks. This was reported on February 13 by Telegram-channel of the Department for the organization of the fight against illegal use of information and communication technologies (UBK) of the Russian Interior Ministry.
"Fraudsters on behalf of the labor inspection send organizations and enterprises fake notifications about allegedly revealed signs of shadow employment. Attackers request documents and threaten an on-site inspection," the agency said.
Subsequently, the fraudsters demand from the organization to pay the alleged state duty by QR code to get more detailed information - this way the money will go to the attackers.
"This scheme has been fixed by the State Labor Inspectorate of the Tambov region, however it can be scaled to other subjects of the Russian Federation", - added in the UBK.
Earlier in the day, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced the introduction of mandatory labeling of phone calls to protect citizens from fraudsters. Users will be able to see from whom the call comes - from organizations or from an international virtual number.
February 12, the Interior Ministry reported that scammers have begun to use phishing resource under the guise of the "State Unified Student Evaluation System. They use it to lure students out of their access code from their "Gosusluga" account.
