Putin instructed to submit proposals to improve oil spill response measures

Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed the government to submit proposals to improve measures to prevent and eliminate oil and oil product spills in the Russian Federation, including in the sea.

"<...>present proposals to improve the planning and implementation of measures aimed at preventing and eliminating oil and oil product spills in the Russian Federation, including in the marine environment, as well as to attract additional forces and funds for these purposes," reads the list of instructions published on the president's website.
