Tennis player Alexandrova reached the semifinals of the tournament in Doha

Russian tennis player Ekaterina Alexandrova defeated American Jessica Pegula in the quarterfinals of the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) tournament. The meeting was held on February 13 in Doha.

Alexandrova defeated Pegula with a score of 4:6, 6:1, 6:1. The duration of the match was 1 hour and 42 minutes.

The Russian will play either Marta Kostyuk of Ukraine or Amanda Anisimova of the USA to reach the final of the tournament.

Ekaterina Alexandrova is the winner of six WTA tournaments, five of them in singles, she is also the Honored Master of Sports of Russia.
