Chinese soccer player Guo Jiaxuan of Beijin Goan was hit in the head with a knee during a friendly match in Spain. The player's family accused the club and the soccer federation of unwillingness to pay for his treatment. This was reported by German newspaper Bild on February 13.

Prospective 18-year-old Chinese soccer player Guo Jiaxuan suffered a severe head injury during a friendly match in Spain and is on life support. Guo Jiaxuan has been playing for Beijin Goan since 2023.

"He has little chance of survival. Guo suffered a hemorrhage after colliding with another player during a training match. The doctor told us that he has very little chance of survival, that he is in a state of clinical death due to lack of oxygen to the brain," the player's brother said.

His family, the Beijin Goan club and the Beijing Football Association (BFA) are trying to figure out who to pay the medical bills to, complements the South China Morning Post.

Earlier, on December 19, 2024, Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma received 10 stitches due to an injury sustained during a game against Monaco. The victim's opponent Stephane Singo unintentionally struck the goalkeeper in the face with the spikes of his boots.
