In Crimea, a criminal case has been opened because of the infliction of injuries by doctors on infants and women in labor in a hospital in Simferopol. This was reported on February 13 by the investigative Department of the IC for the Republic and the city of Sevastopol in Telegram-channel.
In social networks was published information with a woman's complaint that her child was born with injuries and became disabled due to the error of doctors.
"In the course of monitoring social networks revealed additional information about similar facts and residents of the peninsula, who reported that also suffered in the process of delivery from the actions of medical personnel as a result of the use of prohibited methods of fetal extraction," - reports the agency.
The initiated criminal case on the fact of causing bodily harm by doctors to newborns under part 2 of article 118 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Causing serious harm to health by negligence due to improper performance of professional duties by a person").
The Ministry of Health of Crimea said in its Telegram channel that the inspection is now being conducted as part of departmental control of the quality and safety of medical activities.
On January 23, a criminal case was opened in Ingushetia after the death of a woman in labor in the hospital. It was specified that the local resident's health deteriorated, after which the woman in labor was transferred to the Ingush Republican Clinical Hospital, where she died.
