The Russian Consulate General in Bonn clarifies the presence of Russians among those injured when a car hit a crowd in Munich. This is reported in their Telegram channel on February 13.

"We clarify the presence of Russian citizens among the victims. We ask to remain vigilant in places of mass gathering of people," - stated in the statement of the Department.

The incident became known earlier in the day. The police of the city reported that the driver was detained and no longer poses a threat.

At least 20 people were injured when a car collided with a crowd in Munich, some were hospitalized with serious injuries. Media later reported that the driver who rammed into the crowd was a 26-year-old Afghan national. At the moment, the police are investigating the incident.
