The Christian Democratic Union (CDU) has warned that billionaire Ilon Musk could face repercussions for supporting the German right-wing Alternative for Germany (AdG) party. In recent days, the businessman has been actively commenting on domestic political events in Germany. CDU leader Friedrich Merz said in an interview with The Wall Street Journal on February 13.

"What happened during this election campaign can not go unnoticed. It can be a political response. It can be a legal response. I want to calmly analyze it after the campaign," Mertz said.
