Moscow will implement more than 100 ideas of citizens on the development of fish markets

On the platform "City of Ideas" the project devoted to fish markets "Moscow - on a wave" has come to an end. Almost 24 thousand people discussed the assortment and seasonal design of gastronomic spaces, proposed options for events and actions and shared other initiatives for their development, said Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina.

"Muscovites sent more than 3.7 thousand ideas. Experts and users themselves selected 102 for realization. Among them - holding online broadcasts of culinary master classes, launching a delivery service, publishing tips on how to choose seafood. Besides, within the framework of weekly actions the citizens would like to try fish dishes from different regions of Russia and countries of the world", - she told.

Residents of the capital proposed to supplement the event program with a competition for the best short film about fish markets "Moscow - on a wave", lectures, excursions, quests and games for children. Among the ideas for social networks are conducting interviews with suppliers of goods, creating an electronic showcase and posting posters of events.

Muscovites would also like to be able to buy gift sets of different types of delicacies at the venues and get a discount on their birthday.

Today in the capital there are two fish markets "Moscow - on a wave" - in Kosino-Ukhtomsky and in Mitina. More than 600 positions of goods from three oceans and 13 seas are waiting for their visitors: live, chilled, fresh-frozen, dried and smoked fish, seafood, canned and semi-finished products.

Last year the City of Ideas platform celebrated its 10th anniversary. With its help Muscovites share their suggestions on how to make life in the capital more comfortable. The project is developed by the New Management Technologies State Committee and the capital's Department of Information Technologies.
