Political analyst calls Russia and US dominant powers after Putin and Trump talk

The Russian and American sides will be forced to negotiate the future of the world as two dominant powers. German political scientist Ike Hamer said in an interview with Izvestia on February 13.
"I definitely believe that only the US and Russia are the ones who will have to negotiate the future of this world. Perhaps in agreement with [Chinese President] Xi Jinping," Hamer said.
According to the expert, the phone conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US leader Donald Trump showed that there are now two dominant powers.
"We no longer have just a unipolar world where the US dictates. <...> Now you have a partner, you have someone with whom you really have to negotiate, you have to take into account his goals, his interests in your plans. And that's what is done with a phone call," the political scientist added.
Hamer believes that the main interest of the US is to maintain the dollar exchange rate, while Ukraine was more interested in the administration of former White House chief Joe Biden, who wanted to "set up his pirate nest in Europe."
"He (Trump. - Ed.) needs to withdraw his troops from most countries in the world, because it has become too expensive," Hamer summarized.
