In Nizhny Novgorod, a local resident fell under the ground to a 10-meter depth. This was reported in the press service of the Russian Emergencies Ministry on February 13.

The agency noted that the incident occurred on the street Kerchenskaya.

"It turned out that the man was going to work and decided to take a shortcut on the lawn. Suddenly the ground under his feet collapsed, and he found himself at a 10-meter depth," - said in the Telegram-channel of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

It is specified that rescuers helped the 30-year-old victim to get out and handed him over to doctors. The Nizhny Novgorod resident was found to have only a bruise.

Because of what failed the soil, it is still unknown, added in the press service of the Department.

Earlier, on February 1, it was reported that a child in the Kaluga region fell through a manhole near the school. He was recorded minor bruises.
