Residents of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug have been warned about upcoming frosts

In the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug in the next 24 hours cold weather is expected. On the night of Friday, February 14, thermometer columns will drop to -32 degrees, and on Saturday night, February 15, in some places it will be -38 degrees. This is reported by IA "Ura.ru" with reference to the Ob-Irtysh Department of Hydrometeorological Service.

In the daytime in the next two days will be up to -26 degrees in some places, in the southern parts of the region - up to -11 degrees. At the same time forecasters promise light precipitation. Gismeteo, in turn, warns that in Nizhnevartovsk it will get colder to -29 degrees, and in Beloyarsk - to -31 degrees.

Earlier, February 13, an expert of the forecasting center "Meteo" Alexander Ilyin allowed the return of thaw to Moscow from February 23. According to him, frosty weather will persist until the end of the second decade of the month, after which in the Moscow region in some periods the air temperature may fall to -18 degrees Celsius. At the beginning of the third decade of February, the air temperature will begin to tend to zero. Already by the 21st-23rd day thermometers will be positive, the thaw will begin.
