More than 250 tons of moldy soybeans found in agro-firms in Kurgan region

In Kurgan Region, 256 tons of soybeans with high levels of mycotoxins were found in agro-firms. They are formed by mold fungi and are very dangerous.
The Ural Interregional Department of Rosselkhoznadzor told IA "Ura.ru" that an agro-firm from the Kurtamysh district submitted a declaration for 56 tons of fodder soybeans. A laboratory examination revealed that the maximum permissible level of mycotoxins was exceeded 10 times. The same violations were committed by a company from the Shatrovsky District when making a declaration for 200 tons of soybeans.
The declarations were recognized invalid, and the companies were warned. The agency noted that since the beginning of this year 14 declarations of regional participants of grain turnover have already been recognized invalid.
The Agency reminds that at the end of January a farmer from Kurgan region tried to sell 5 thousand tons of wheat infected with mite. In the test report he did not indicate the maximum permissible level of arsenic, mercury, mycotoxins and pesticides.
Earlier, on February 13, the Department of Control and Supervisory Activities of the Center for Development of Advanced Technologies said that for six months, thanks to the introduction of labeling in the country managed to identify more than 221 tons of illegal caviar of sturgeon and salmon fish.
