More than 700 property objects will be nationalized in Crimea

More than 720 objects of movable and immovable property of former Ukrainian owners will be nationalized in Crimea. The money raised will be used to help the participants of the SWO and their families, as well as the development of the region. This was reported in social networks by the head of the Republican Parliament Vladimir Konstantinov.

In the list for nationalization - 114 names. Among them "Dolphinarium Nemo", "Beer and alcoholic beverage plant Crimea", "Saki mineral waters" and sanatorium "Green Cape" in Alupka.

The authorities will also seize the property of the family of Lviv businessman Oleh Genshaft, former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Lyudmyla Denisova and many other citizens of foreign countries.

Crimea became part of Russia in 2014 after a referendum in which the majority of the peninsula's residents voted in favor of reunification with the Russian Federation. Kiev refuses to recognize the results of the vote and considers Crimea its territory. The Russian leadership has repeatedly stated that the residents of Crimea voted democratically and in full compliance with international law in favor of reunification, and the question of the peninsula's belonging to the Russian Federation is finally closed.
