"Rosneft launched a project to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory

To mark the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, Rosneft launched a historical and research project "The Great Patriotic War in the history of my family". Its goal is to collect information about veterans, home front workers, concentration camp inmates and children of war, the company's press service said.

During the year the project participants - employees of the enterprise, production veterans and pupils of Rosneft Class - will send documents, photos and stories of their relatives to the corporate museum. The preserved letters from the front and soldiers' diary entries will later be included in the Victory Museum's project "Voices of Victory: Revitalizing History through Letters from the Front".

The first enterprise to join the project was RN-Nyaganneftegaz (part of Rosneft's oil production block). All the collected historical data will become the basis for a series of patriotic events organized by the enterprise, as well as replenish the collection of the main Victory Museum on Poklonnaya Gora.
