Weather forecasters warned Muscovites of cloudy weather at the weekend

On the weekend, February 15 and 16, Muscovites are expected mostly cloudy weather. This follows from the data of the service "Yandex Weather", which were reviewed by "Izvestia" on February 14. Precipitation in the form of snow is predicted on both days.

On Saturday, February 15, it will be cloudy in Moscow. Snow is expected in the afternoon. Gusts of moderate northwesterly wind will reach 4 m/s. In the morning the temperature will be -8...-10, in the afternoon will remain at -7...-8, and by night will return to morning values. In cities near Moscow, such as Odintsovo, Podolsk, Lyubertsy, Vidnoye and Domodedovo, the temperature during the day will be about -9, forecasters said.

On Sunday, February 16, the weather in the capital will be cloudy, with snow expected throughout the day. The temperature in the morning will be -10...-11, in the afternoon will rise to -8...-9, and at night will remain at -11...-12.

"Moderate wind is expected, gusts will reach 3.4 m/s in the afternoon. In the central districts of the capital (Tverskaya, Arbat, Tagansky, Yakimanka) throughout the day the temperature will be one degree higher than in the rest of the city", - specified in the service.

At the same time in the Moscow region conditions will remain similar to those in the capital: snow is expected throughout the day, the temperature will be at the level of Moscow values or a maximum of one degree lower.

Earlier, on February 12, the head of the Meteo forecasting center, Alexander Shuvalov, told Izvestia that"barometric blows" and "baric saws"are not expected in Central Russia in the near future. According to him, the atmospheric pressure, which was high on February 8, is now returning to normal levels.
