Shmidt and Demidov streets are being poured with concrete in Sevastopol

Sevastopol has started laying concrete on Shmidt and Demidov streets. Earlier, the contractor created a base from a mixture of crushed stone and sand, Pavel Ieno, acting vice-governor of the region, said in social networks.
The temporary pavement will become a "cushion" for the historic paving stone, which was dismantled the other day. According to the official, 30 cm thick concrete will prevent the cobblestones from subsiding after their return to their original place.
As SevastopolMedia IA writes, both roads will be opened for private vehicles and small buses on February 17. The route is designed to bypass Admiral Oktyabrsky Street, which will be closed due to the repair of retaining walls.
Earlier it was reported that in Sevastopol from February 3 to February 15 will close automobile traffic on three streets in the area of Krasnaya Gorka. Restrictions are introduced in connection with road repairs.
