The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) has issued a warning to the Federal Passenger Company. The service revealed in the actions of the organization in providing discounts signs of violation of antimonopoly legislation, the antimonopoly authority reported on February 13.

"FAS of Russia found that JSC "Federal Passenger Company" canceled the discount for travel for passengers with disabilities in long-distance trains to the Kaliningrad region and back. At the same time the organization provided a similar discount for travel on the rest of Russia", - explained in the antimonopoly service.

The agency noted that the company's actions may lead to infringement of the interests of passengers, including residents of the Kaliningrad region, and contain signs of violation of the law on protection of competition.

FAS issued a warning to the company. JSC "Federal Passenger Company" must provide passengers with disabilities traveling in both directions of the Kaliningrad region, including residents of the region, the opportunity to purchase tickets for specialized seats in long-distance trains on similar terms that apply to other railway directions of the Russian Federation.

In case of failure to fulfill the warning, the service will initiate antimonopoly proceedings.

Earlier, on January 13, the FAS fined Alfa Bank for improper advertising campaign with "Yandex Food". It was reported that the joint advertising was distributed on the air of federal TV channels. The video contained attractive information for consumers about the accrual of a 50% cashback when paying for an order in the service "Yandex" any card of the bank. Earlier, the service recognized the advertising of Alfa Bank and Yandex Foods as inappropriate and issued the companies with instructions to cease violating the federal law "On Advertising".
