Criminal case opened after workers died in a mine in Perm region


A criminal case on violation of safety requirements has been initiated over the fact of workers' death due to a collapse in a potash mine in the town of Solikamsk, Perm Region. This was reported on February 13 in the press service of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee (ICS) of Russia in the region.
"A criminal case has been initiated on the grounds of a crime under part 3 of article 217 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of industrial safety requirements of hazardous production facilities, which caused the death of two persons by negligence")," - said in the message published in the Telegram-channel.
