Naryshkin says Ukraine's statehood collapse inevitable

Ukrainian statehood will inevitably collapse. This statement was made by the director of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) and the head of the Russian Historical Society (RHS), Sergey Naryshkin, on 13 February.
According to him, after the collapse of the USSR, the Ukrainian authorities focused "on personal enrichment at the expense of the people" instead of building their own statehood.
"As a result, the country has been brought to a catastrophe, and collapse inevitably looms ahead," he said at the round table "From Kharkiv to Uzhgorod: the history of conflicts and territorial compromises".
