- ZNPP reported about the return of IAEA experts to the plant after the disrupted rotation

All experts of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) have returned to the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant (ZNPP) after the rotation disrupted by the Ukrainian army. The experts were not injured. This was reported on February 13 by the Director of Communications of the enterprise Eugenia Yashina.
"At the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant after the provocation of Ukrainian troops and thwarted IAEA rotation returned all experts. Everything is fine with them. The cars in which IAEA experts were in during Kiev's disrupted rotation are not damaged," she told TASS.
According to Yashina, the agency's experts are continuing their work to assess and monitor the safety of the plant until the rotation is resumed.
In addition, Zaporizhzhya NPP's communications director told RIA Novosti that the plant's administration has repeatedly suggested changing the route for IAEA experts. It is possible to carry out the rotation through the Moscow airport "Sheremetyevo" and the territory of Russia, she emphasized.
The day before, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) launched a drone strike on a parking lot in the satellite town of ZNPP Energodar, which is located 300 meters from the first reactor of the plant, thus disrupting the rotation of IAEA experts. The governor of Zaporizhzhya region, Yevhen Balitsky, called the incident a provocation.
The Defense Ministry said on 13 February that the disruption of the rotation was the result of deliberate actions of Ukraine. The convoy on the territory of the country was first stopped, and after Kiev attacked the Russian working group that arrived at the place of transfer of experts. The agency published objective control footage confirming the attack on the convoy in order to disrupt the rotation with the use of drones and artillery.
In her turn, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said that Ukraine had shown its terrorist nature and lack of commitment in the attack that disrupted the rotation of IAEA experts.
The acting head of the Energodar administration, Maksym Pukhov, said that the rotation route of the agency's experts should pass through the territory of the Russian Federation.
Ukrainian troops regularly try to attack the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant. Zaporizhzhya Region, where the nuclear power plant is located, became part of the Russian Federation following a referendum in September 2022. Since then, ZNPP has been under constant IAEA control.
