FSB officers detained a saboteur of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry's GUR in Donetsk


The Federal Security Service of Ukraine(FSB) has identified and detained a saboteur of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry who had built an explosive device for subsequent use for terrorist purposes. Arina Klepanova, the official representative of the Russian FSSB in the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR), said on February 13.
"The detainee on the assignment of the GUR of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine withdrew from a previously equipped cache of components for the creation of an improvised explosive device for subsequent use for terrorist purposes," - she said.
It is noted that the man was detained during the fight against intelligence and sabotage activities of the Ukrainian special services.
On this fact, the investigative unit of the FSS of Russia in the DNR initiated a criminal case under paragraphs "a", "c", part 3 of article 222.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Illegal acquisition, transfer, sale, storage, transportation, forwarding or carrying of explosives or explosive devices").
Earlier, on January 10, the official representative of the FSS of Russia in the DNR Arina Klepanova reported that a resident of Yenakievo in the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR) was detained on suspicion of treason. The man repeatedly transferred money to electronic accounts from which AFU servicemen were financed.
