A D-20 gun crew destroyed a KNP with AFU personnel in Chasovoye Yar

A 152-millimeter D-20 gun of the Ivanovo Guards' Ivanovo Guards' compound of the Airborne Troops (VDV) has destroyed a command and observation post with personnel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) on the outskirts of Chasovy Yar in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on February 13.
The ministry specified that Russian servicemen received precise coordinates of enemy positions from operators of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), who spotted Ukrainian militants' hideouts.
The paratrooper artillerymen aimed the D-20 gun at the target and fired the first firing shot. After that, the gunner corrected the trajectory and with a second shot the KNP and up to five AFU fighters were destroyed.
D-20 gun crews have been successfully operating in the Special Military Operation (SMO) zone since its beginning. They are capable of hitting targets from quite a long distance with accurate shots round the clock.
"Each calculation is a small family. Everyone knows who and what they are. Where who needs to be pulled up and where to support," said the gun commander with the call sign Molot.
Earlier, on February 12, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the Msta-S self-propelled howitzer crews of the Msta-S self-propelled howitzers of the All-Union Army of the "West" group of forces destroyed an M777 howitzer, a radar station, armored vehicles and live force of AFU militants in the SSO zone while carrying out firing missions.
