The U.S. State Department announced Kellogg's trip to Europe


US President Donald Trump's special envoy for Ukraine Keith Kellogg will pay a visit to Germany, Belgium and Ukraine from February 13 to 22. The corresponding information was published on February 12 on the website of the US State Department.
"Kellogg will visit Germany, Belgium, and Ukraine from February 13-22 to advance President Trump's goal of securing peace <...> and advancing the national security interests of the United States," the message reads.
Kellogg is also scheduled to visit NATO and EU headquarters in Brussels and attend the Munich Security Conference. In addition, Trump's special envoy will meet with officials and individuals during his visit to Ukraine.
Earlier, on February 10, Bloomberg agency said that Kellogg in the next few weeks intends to present to the head of the White House options for ending the conflict in Ukraine. It was specified that Kellogg needs to get all the necessary information from officials at the Munich conference.
Also on this day, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio called the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine the main topic of the Munich Security Conference, which will be held from February 14 to 16.
