UAV operators destroyed tanks and equipment of the AFU on the South Donetsk direction

Assault units of the Vostok group of troops are advancing deep into the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the south Donetsk direction of the special military operation (SMO). North-west of the Vremivka and Zelenivka settlements, the attackers are being actively supported by unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) operators. This was reported in the Russian Defense Ministry on February 13.

It is noted that under the strikes of FPV-drones and drops hit the tanks and armored vehicles, vehicles and enemy manpower identified by scouts.

The agency specified that over the past 24 hours the Ukrainian militants lost in the area of responsibility of the group up to 150 militants, seven vehicles, four artillery units, a T-72 tank and a radar station of counter-battery combat.

Earlier, on February 12, the Msta-S self-propelled howitzers of the All-Union Army of Army Group West destroyed an M777 howitzer, a radar station, armored vehicles and AFU manpower in the special operation zone.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
