Since the beginning of 2025, 14 new charging stations for electric buses have been installed in Moscow. This was reported on February 12 by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of the capital for Transport and Industry.

According to him, charging stations appeared in Ivanovo and Dmitrov districts, as well as in Konkovo, notes the agency of city news "Moscow".

Liksutov added that with the emergence of new charging stations on the routes more electric buses instead of buses. More than 360 ultra-fast charging stations have been installed in the city to date, which ensure the operation of more than 2.3 thousand electric buses, RT reports.

On January 5, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that more than 70 electric bus routes will be launched in the capital in 2024. Ecological and Innovative public transport first came to 15 districts of the metropolis and Podolsk, writes RIAMO.

In November, Liksutov reported an increase in the daily mileage of the capital's electric buses. According to him, today the capital's electric buses travel more than 280 thousand kilometers per day - this is 100 thousand kilometers more than it was at the beginning of 2024.
