The number of people wounded after AFU attacks in Belgorod region has grown to five

An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) struck a truck in Valuyskiy district of Belgorod Region and injured another person. This was reported by the Governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov on February 12.

"A man who was also in the car damaged as a result of the drone's impact on a truck in the village of Kolykhalino in Valuysky district went to a medical facility," - stated in the message of the Governor in Telegram-channel.

It is specified that specialists assessed the condition of the injured man as satisfactory. He was hospitalized in a medical institution with barotrauma.

Also according to Gladkov, a car was damaged in the village of Karabanovo in Valuysky district as a result of an attack by a UAV. In addition, a passenger car caught fire in the village of Malinovka after a drone explosion.

In addition, in the town of Shebekino, the glazing of two residential apartment buildings, five cars and power lines were damaged due to an incoming munition.

Earlier in the day, Gladkov reported that two men were injured in attacks by AFU drones on cars in Valuysky District and Borisovsky District of Belgorod Region. In addition, a drone struck a moving car in the village of Berezovka in the Borisov district.

At the same time, Gladkov said that in the Volokonovsky district of Belgorod Region, Ukrainian militants dropped an explosive device from a drone on a car that was traveling along a road. Two people - a married couple - were injured. The victims were taken to a regional hospital and treated. In addition, a number of settlements were attacked by AFU drones at the same time, residential houses were damaged there.

The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
