Ukrainian media reported on the imposition of sanctions against Poroshenko

The National Security and Defence Council (NSDC) of Ukraine has imposed sanctions against former President Petro Poroshenko (a member of the association listed by Rosfinmonitoring as involved in extremist activity or terrorism). This was reported by the Ukrainian version of Forbes magazine on February 12, citing sources.
"At today's meeting of the NSDC were introduced sanctions against the fifth President of Ukraine, people's Deputy and businessman Petro Poroshenko , said two interlocutors, one of whom was present at the meeting of the NSDC," - reports Forbes.
One of the sources suggests that the matter may concern the article "High Treason".
Poroshenko on his page in the social network X (former Twitter) called the imposition of sanctions against him by the SNBO of Ukraine a provocation and a crime. Saying that this crime has many accomplices, but the customer, executor and signatory is Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky (term expired May 20, 2024).
"This did not come as news to me. I had all the information about the preparation of this provocation, but until the last believed that common sense will prevail," - stated in the message.
Earlier in the day, Poroshenko said that the Ukrainian authorities refused to allow him to travel to the Munich Security Conference and served 15 subpoenas to the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI).
