Alexey Sopin left the post of sports director of Moscow HC "Dynamo"

Sporting director of the Moscow hockey club Dynamo Alexey Sopin left his post at his own request. This was reported on February 12 by the press service of the team in Telegram-channel.

"Sporting director of the Bilo-Blue Alexey Sopin completes his work in the club at his own will. Dynamo Moscow Hockey Club thanks Alexey Sopin for his work in the club and wishes him success in his future endeavors," the team said in a statement.

President - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dynamo HC Viktor Voronin noted that such a decision was unexpected and there are no candidates for this position yet.

Alexey Sopin is the champion of Russia and the winner of the 2013 Gagarin Cup. He finished his career as a player in 2018. Since October 2019, he worked as deputy director of Dynamo Chernyshev Hockey Academy, and in July 2020 he headed it. Sopin became the sports director of the white-blue in 2023.
