If a person has a predisposition to metabolic changes, it is necessary to organize sugar consumption in order not to enter the risk zone and not to destroy the life perspective. Doctor of Medical Sciences, nutritionist Margarita Koroleva told about it on February 11.
According to the specialist, sugar is a rather insidious product.
"Sugar is an antidepressant, which people often resort to in order to brighten their mood, to get pleasure, to treat themselves, but with regular use are gained not only extra pounds, but there is insulin resistance, when the body and cells do not accept and do not understand sugar," - said the expert in conversation with "Radio 1".
The nutritionist noted that then diseases are formed: type 2 diabetes and cognitive dysfunction. When the amount of sugar in the diet increases, the gut microbiome suffers, which is fraught with low immunity and frequent illnesses.
"To get away from sugar intake, you need to stick to a regular diet and natural foods. It is mandatory to eat carbohydrate molecules," concluded Koroleva.
Nuria Dianova, a doctor-gastroenterologist and nutritionist, said on February 12 that a healthy marmalade should contain pectin and fruit puree, not just sugar, 360.ru reported.
