Sergunina told about a series of free excursions in Moscow for the Day of the Guide

In the capital for the World Guide Day will be held a cultural and educational campaign "Moscow Stories", which will organize free tours of the city's attractions. The action will be held from February 21 to 23, Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina said.

"This time the program includes 126 locations - museums, parks, old mansions, eco-centers and industrial enterprises. In total, more than 360 excursions are planned," said Sergunina.

In the center "Cosmonautics and Aviation" at VDNKh guests will be introduced to the history of space and air travel. Residents of the special economic zone "Technopolis Moscow" are also waiting for visitors. Having visited their enterprises, it is possible, for example, to see the process of production of sports nutrition products and composite materials.

On excursion on art quarter of Nagorny district Muscovites and tourists will be shown 11 unique mosaic panels and will tell what participation in their creation local residents took.

Within the framework of the action will be held and such excursions as "Walking along the roads of ancient crossings" (dedicated to the city bridges) and "Journey on Bolshaya Dmitrovka" about the secrets of the acting craft.

Guests of the Gorky Film Studio will be shown authentic costumes of characters from such films as "A Hero of Our Time" and "Morozko", as well as the technique with which these films were shot.

In the ecocenter "Museum of Nature" visitors will learn about the flora and fauna of Moscow and the Moscow region and interesting facts about the life of the inhabitants of natural areas.
