Mezentsev told about parallel development of 12 programs of the Union State

Work is currently underway on 12 prospective programs of the Union State (SU). This was stated by Secretary of State of the SU Dmitry Mezentsev on February 12 at a meeting to summarize the results of the implementation of programs, activities and the use of funds of the budget of the SU in 2024.

"We have today (are developing. - Ed.) 12 programs of the Union State and two projects - and we are waiting for the release of a decree of the Union Government, which as a proposal should support the initiative that the republican and federal ministries and agencies have shown," he said.

The state secretary noted that when implementing the programs, "every ruble of the Union budget should be spent very efficiently."

Earlier, January 20, Mezentsev said that Moscow and Minsk had implemented the fifth part of the action plan to implement the provisions of the agreement on the creation of the Union State for 2024-2026. The fifth part of the 310 tasks, which formed the basis of 31 action plans to implement the provisions of the treaty, has already been successfully completed, he added.

Prior to that, on October 1, 2024, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin stressed that the Union State is the locomotive of integration within the EAEU, because Moscow and Minsk are working on the EAEU proposals to strengthen the freedom of promotion of goods, services and labor in a joint format.
