This was reported on February 12 by Verkhovna Rada MP from the European Solidarity party Iryna Gerashchenko.

"It is proposed to refer to the state secret information about the organization, state and plans to ensure the protection of critical infrastructure objects," she wrote in her Telegram-channel.

In addition, information on the creation of a logistical reserve for response and elimination of consequences of accidents at such facilities will also become classified.

It is specified that the initiative was supported by 290 people's deputies out of 450.

A day earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry said that the Russian Armed Forces had launched a group strike on the facilities of the gas-energy complex, which supports the work of the military-industrial complex (MIC) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). It is specified that the targets of the strike were safely reached and destroyed.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
