The municipal award "Service" will be presented in April

The award ceremony of the second All-Russian municipal award "Service" will be held in April. This was announced on February 12 by Irina Guseva, co-chair of the All-Russian Association for the Development of Local Self-Government, member of the Presidium of the Presidential Council for the Development of Local Self-Government.

"The award ceremony will be held in April. <...> Because in April is the professional holiday - the day of the local government worker," she said at a press conference in TASS.

According to her, the whole country will see the best projects that will be honored at the highest level.

The "Service" prize is awarded for a special contribution to the development of municipalities and improving the quality of life of Russians.

According to the information posted on the website of the award, applications for participation are accepted in 10 nominations. Among the categories are "Territory development - well-being of residents", "Direct conversation - trust in the authorities", "Care for the families of heroes - contribution to the common victory", "Great heritage - for future generations" and others.

Irina Makieva, Chief Managing Partner for Urban Development of VEB.RF, member of the Supervisory Board of the award, shared that in 2025 they established a special award for partner companies of the event.

"A special award for partners will be a stimulating moment, and as many large organizations as possible will pay special attention to municipalities. This will not only strengthen partnerships, but also help to attract a resource for the development of municipalities," she specified.

All-Russian municipal award "Service" is held since 2023 on the instructions of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The first session was held in Murmansk on January 24-25, the main part will be held in April 2025

Earlier, on November 29, 2024, in Moscow awarded the Russian Creative Awards in the field of creative industries. The jury included Svetlana Balanova, General Director of National Media Group (NMG). The winner of the Creative Region nomination was Krasnoyarsk Territory, where 20,000 people work in the industry and 13,000 companies operate in this sphere.
