The highest-paid working specialties in the Russian Federation are named

In January in Russia, the highest-paid workers were drivers, representatives of the construction and interior decoration sector, as well as employees of the automobile business. This is stated in the results of the research of experts of the platform "Avito Work", which were read by "Izvestia" on February 13.

In the first month of this year, the profession of trucker topped this rating. Candidates were offered an average of 200,019 rubles per month - 21% more than a year earlier. Experts noted that more often such work involves a shift schedule, so the actual amount of income may vary depending on the duration of the shift.

According to the platform, the top three highest-paid professions in the transportation sector also included trawl and tonar drivers. Applicants for vacancies of trawl drivers could expect an average of 170,297 rubles (+8% for the year), and for positions of tonar drivers - 147,810 rubles (+6%). On average, in the sphere of transportation, trucking and logistics, salary offers reached 99,087 rubles, which is 2% higher than in January 2023.

In addition, in January this year in the segment of industrial and infrastructure construction, the average salary offers increased by 36%, reaching 103,298 rubles per month, and in the field of residential and commercial facilities they increased by 17% and amounted to 95,390 rubles per month.

Plasterboarders became leaders in the list of high-paid construction specialties. Employers offered candidates for the position an average of 154,818 rubles (+57% for the year). At the same time, salary offers for monolithic workers and tilers for 12 months increased by 36% and 31% respectively, reaching 135,887 and 135,126 rubles per month.

In the automotive sector, average salary offers for auto electricians increased by 72%, reaching RUB 168,156 per month in fixed employment. Those who want to take the place of an automobile mechanic and car mechanic were offered an average of 130,507 rubles and 126,932 rubles per month, respectively. Overall, the average salary offers in the automotive service sector increased by 27%, amounting to 116,790 rubles monthly.

Andrei Kucherenkov, director of the category "Workers and line professions" of Avito Raboty, explained that the growth of salary offers in working specialties is due to both a shortage of qualified personnel and an increase in the volume of orders in key industries.

"For example, in the transportation sector, the increased demand for employees is motivated by the growth of cargo transportation and the development of logistics infrastructure, in construction - by the active implementation of industrial and infrastructure projects. Employers compete for specialists, offering not only higher salaries, but also additional bonuses, including training, comfortable working conditions and social benefits," he said.

Earlier, on February 12, it was reported that 86% of surveyed employers faced staff shortages this month. This is stated in the results of the study of the Russian School of Management. Businesses are looking for different ways to retain employees and attract new workers. Among them, 58% of companies have planned to increase salaries in 2025.
