A Spanish journalist has been prosecuted for illegally crossing the Russian border

The Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia has opened a criminal case on illegal crossing of the Russian border (part 3 of article 322 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) against the journalist of the Spanish El Mundo Alberto Rojas. This was reported on February 12 in the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.

"The investigation established that in February 2025 Rojas without documents for the right to enter the territory of the Russian Federation, together with servicemen of the VFU illegally crossed the state border and further was in Sujansky district of Kursk region," - stated in the message published in the Telegram-channel.
