The Russian Armed Forces have repelled three counterattacks by the Ukrainian army in the Kursk region. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on 12 February.
It was specified that the counterattacks were repelled by units of the Russian grouping of troops "North", which also defeated the formations of brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the area of the settlements of Gogolevka, Guevo, Zaoleshenka, Kazachya Loknya, Kositsa, Kurilovka, Lebedevka, Makhnovka, Nikolsky, Oleshnya, Rubanshchina, Sverdlikovo and Suja.
