Children poisoned in a school canteen in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky

In Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, several students were poisoned during breakfast in the school canteen. A pre-investigation check is being conducted on the fact of the incident.

According to preliminary data, on February 12, children ate cutlets for breakfast, after which they felt pains in the stomach. KamchatkaMedia news agency specifies that the incident occurred at school No. 7.

The victims were not hospitalized, they are being treated at home. The Investigative Committee of the Krasnodar Territory is investigating the circumstances of the incident. The city prosecutor's office has also organized a check. According to its results, a procedural decision will be taken.

Earlier, on February 12, it was reported that the Department of Rospotrebnadzor for the city of Moscow in the course of epidemiological investigation temporarily restricted the activities of the bakery "Melnitsa" on Simferopol Boulevard after the poisoning of two people with heavy metals in baked goods. The bakery is sealed. The investigation revealed gross violations of the requirements of sanitary legislation, as well as legislation in the field of technical regulation.
